I have the flu. I spent all of yesterday in bed. We live in a small house, and I never even made it to the kitchen because I was too weak. This morning I still felt lousy, but now it is afternoon, and I am sitting upright! Like a human! I’m hoping tomorrow will be even better. Having the flu is a big, big bummer. On top of it, the weather has been gorgeous, but I have been in a darkened room, rotting in my body soil (eeewww! This blog is supposed to be appropriate for women and children, so I apologize for that graphic slip-up). There are, however, some positive points. The only one I can think of at the moment is that Peter made Jell-O for the first time in his life.

Oh, poor little Eggplant! It is a bad year for flu bugs. Hope yours flies the coop fast. Take care.
Feel better soon!
Hope you feel better soon. I just came across your blog through Shanny and I certainly intend to keep reading.
You poor thing :(( Nothing like a bad flu to make us appreciate our health.. Hoping tomorrow is better and you can get some knitting or something in while taking it easy..
Sorry you’re not feeling well. Get lots of rest and take good care of yourself.
Hope you’re feeling better soon!
feel better soon!
Hope you feel better soon, in the meantime make the most of the Jello!
Oh, poor poor poor you! I HATE the flu. Nothing good about it, and even the jello doesn’t make up for it. The only good thing I can see about it is that if you HAD to have it, at least you’re getting it over with before Stitches. Now, THAT would have been devastating, no?
Feel better, dear.
what a bummer. i didn’t get around to having the flu shot either. jello always makes me smile; what flavor did he make for you? feel better soon!
Oh, Mariko. I’m so sorry to hear that you are sick. Hope you will feel better very soon.
Get well, get well soon, we hope that you get well! Sorry for the Seinfeldian party song but it’s all I could think of in your present condition.
I find chicken soup always hits the spot whether it be flu or cold. Ask hubbie to open a can for you!
Get well, get well…..you get the message.
You poor thing – sip on some tea. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

You poor dirty girl! It’s amazing, when you finally take a shower you feel better immediately…Take care and banish the bug…
Be well, Mariko!
Maybe if you stay in bed long enough, he’ll learn how to bake brioche. 😉 Be well, Mariko!
Hmm…would the thought of your very own little box of Marly’s Chocolates help you get better? Maybe you’re not quite ready to eat them yet, but by the time they get there you should be!
Get well soon!
I hope you are feeling better. Too sick to knit is just too sick….
