Well, what’s this cocooned in a protective shroud?
Click to see the beauty within!
Thanks to Eklectika for sending this nugget of goodness and beauty! And I’d also like to thank the Academy, no, wait, er, I want to thank Kerstin for explaining how to have nesting popping images (though I couldn’t figure out how to resize the image properly. Sorry).
On another high note today, the mailman brought stuff that will once again distract me from my knitting. Not only did he bring these,
but he also brought the latest ReadyMade magazine! [To others who got Rebecca–who dares to make the little hotpants on page 24?]

I had no idea that West coast people were so Fluff-deprived. I can get mine at QFC easily. My favorite use for Fluff is to eat it on graham crackers. I love it so much that I had to stop buying Fluff.
Are these the hot pants on the left? I have the guts to make them, just not to wear them. 🙂
I double dare you to make those hot pants. I might have considered it 10 years ago. Now I have a nice soft mommy body that just doesn’t belong in one of those hot pants :).
wow! Caitlin is here with me and just HAD to see what happened when we clicked on the package…”wow, that was cool!” so…just where did you find that wonderful processed goo? And, I’m sure for my benefit, just as we clicked, a Weight Watcher’s pop up appeared. 🙁
Where do you subscribe to Rebecca magazine? I desperately want to get it, but the web is no help!
I noticed the Ram Wools catalogue in your pile. Ram is in Winnipeg, where I live. Too cool to see that… though I don’t know why. We all get so excited to hear the name of our cities on TV, and when we meet people abroad who are where we’re from… weird. 🙂
Hi Mariko,I tried to email you twice but for some reason it gets returned to me undeliverable. I just wanted to pass on some info where you could get Cascade Indulgence. If you email me back I’ll pass on the info.
Fran
Marta – I just get it at my neighborhood supermarket (over here it’s mostly Stop ‘n’ Shop and Shaw’s), though that’s in Connecticut!
Mariko – so glad it arrived safely! 🙂 Hooray for bubble wrap!
YOU would look like a million bucks in those hot pants! Ho pants? Actually it doesn’t look particularly hot on the model, so that’s usually a warning flag…but really, you’d look great…
I dare you! Now that is one scary big pic of Fluff. (I can’t believe you eat the stuff with a spoon.) There are some cute things in that Rebecca mag. Yes, including the hot pants. As long as they’re not on my rear! (You could make them extra hot by using Homespun. teehee)
Mmmm….strawberry fluff. I would love to put that on a graham cracker…
Knitted hot pants! Do it!! I wanna see!
Your pattern is lovely in MagKnits! Congrats to you and all the MagKnitters. 🙂
“Artificial Flavor” – – no, really?
And ditto on the home delivery of Rebecca – – how’d you swing that?
Just another enquiring mind who’s at a loss as to how I can get my mitts on a subscription to Rebecca. Or do you order the issues one at a time from someplace…? Do tell!
Phew! I was about to lose my mind when I saw you received your Rebecca.–My dh just brought in the mail, and lo and behold I have it in all it’s glory!
I didn’t know they made Fluff in flavors! Yummy!
My LYS carries Rebecca, but for some reason they haven’t received the Spring issue. Please let us know how you subscribe. Please, please, please . . .
for subscriptions to Rebecca, i believe you can go to the Muench website and click the Rebecca link. http://www.muenchyarns.com/Pages/rebecca.html
I’ve never had marshmallow fluff and have never been tempted, but *strawberry* fluff just might lure me in. At least for a taste.
Don’t you just love the newest ReadyMade? I’m aching to build that meditation room.
Ha! I dare ya! I’ll make ’em too – if I can only get tha friggin’ magazine! grrr… lys keeps saying it isn’t out yet. 🙁
