Just in time for Easter, here’s Pumpkin Fluff!
It may not be the most stylish sweater in town, but it is very comfy. Details that I’ve bothered to remember (note to self: be more organized): Sirdar Snowflake in pumpkin on um, 5mm needles, I think. The pattern was loosely based on a discontinued Sirdar Snowflake v-neck sweater design. The pocket is adapted from the Rogue pullover.
I wore Pumpkin Fluff today to the San Luis Obispo Knitter’s Guild meeting. It was my first time attending. There were about 10 knitters there, including the Hedster and me. The best part was at the end when a girl of about 10 (she was working on a chunky chenille scarf) walked up to me, touched my sweater, and asked, “Is that Polarspun?” That girl knows her Lion Brand yarns!

I absolutely LOVE your pumpkin fluff! Orange is one of my fave colours and I think your sweater turned out fantastically! I see Elann.com has some Snowflake on sale and some leaflets, too. Hmm, I don’t think there’s any orange, though. Bummer.
Looks so comfy, light and airy! Love the color. Here’s to yummy fluff!
i love it. so fun. looks super comfy. and yes those surely are peeps in your pocket goofball! 🙂
Awwww – it’s sooo cute – and comfy looking, too. By the way, have you seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? Just wondered if you were influenced at all by this movie to make an orange sweater….
That sweater is to die for. You do such nice work. You may have mentioned before but have you been knitting long? You seem to pull a sweater together pretty quickly.
P.S. Don’t think I didn’t notice the peeps.
Pumpkin Fluff looks great.
I keep thinking of you when I see all these funky Peeps sites. Have you seen Lord of the Peeps? Crazy.
When I see the name Pumpkin Fluff it reminds me of a Weight Watchers recipe that I once adored. Pumpkin Fluff Recipes
I was eating it just about every night for a week and got so sick and disgusted by it that I never made it again. In fact, it completely turned me off of pumpkin. lol
I think you may start a fashion trend in fluffy sweaters in pretty bright colors!
It’s wonderful !
I love it too! It looks SO comfy…
super cute and totally happy! great job.
orange fluff is great, love the pocket! and is my memory incorrect, or have the peeps’ colors become more neon? i remember soft pink and yellow peeps from my childhood; i saw peeps recently and they looked almost agressive in color!
Love that orange! And it looks so cozy too…
Super Fluffy Pumpkin? Not as catchy as Super Eggplant, but still.
Fantastic sweater, fantstic orange 🙂
Btw. I love your necklace, it
The ultimate Easter sweater!
Lovely, lovely. The Fluff rocks, and love that the little girl knew about yarn…gotta start em young, I say.
WOW! Now that’s an ORANGE sweater! Looks fabulous on you, of course…and peeps in the pocket, of course! Next you’ll be knitting something from marshmallow fluff…..
It looks very comfy and fluffy! you can’t beat that!
Bravo for PF – – and hey, I guess that pocket’s functional after all!
Looks good enough to eat! 🙂
Yum. It looks so cozy–who cares about stylish when you can be that comfy?
Good fit, and I like the pocket. You don’t see those too often on unhooded sweaters, so brava for imagination.
Mariko, the pumpkin fluff suits you very well. Tres cute!
I love it! Orange is my favorite color. 🙂
Great sweater!
