Yesterday I found these:
Seasonal candies rock my world.
Today’s field trip took Mrs. H and me out to the hinterlands where Fabric Depot is located. How I love that place. I restrained myself and only purchased two spools of hot pink Wooly Nylon serger thread and some buttons. I have mentioned before how they sell a bunch of Dutch foods there, right? Apparently the owner is Dutch, so he imports stuff from his homeland. I snuck this photo:
Can you see all the varieties of chocolate sprinkles on the shelf near the bottom?
And one of the best things of all that I found there:
GRAPEFRUIT MENTOS. It’s a limited edition flavor! The bad part? I only bought one measly roll because I didn’t know how delicious they were going to be.

Your Dad is 88? Mine will be 93 on Monday…. we all joke that he’s fast approaching middle age.
God bless, Christine
YOu can get those here year round I think. I might be able to snag some for you once this whole DC Visa Fiasco is over.
Let me know 🙂
Hey, I just mailed you a little box of candy called “Narbles” that I discovered the other day!
🙂
Omigod, I love Mentos, especially the fruity flavors.
mint kit kats? grapefruit mentos? yum. I’ve got to stop reading you first thing in the morning.
Please let us know how you like the mint KitKats. I am hesitant to buy as they sound a bit strange. However, I am aleady into the holiday marshmallows. mmmmm…
Have you tried the peach and grape mentos? My sister-in-law sends them from Japan and they
are so good!
Oh. My. Goodness. Mint KitKats?!?!!? You’ve turned my world upsidedown…I’m going to have to find these!
I’ve also tried the grape Mentos. The green apple ones too. My friend brought some back from China and then I found a small candy store in my neighborhood that sells ’em. I gotta find those peach Mentos!
One of my happiest memory is finding Mint Kit-Kats in England. I purchased one in late January in London, but couldn’t find them again. Then in March, I found them at the bus station in Salisbury before going to see Stonehenge, eating one on the way out and one on the way back. Now my memories of seeing Stonehenge are tied to mint Kit-Kats!
Has anyone tried the acerola flavored mentos? I got some of those too, but I’ve never heard of that fruit, so I haven’t eaten them yet.
Mint Kit Kats??? They make mint Kit Kats? Why wasn’t I alerted?
Just wanted to say I luv your blog especially, of course, the candy! Also that I was surprised to see that you’re a fellow Portlander too! Mio Gelato’s grapefruit flavor is fantastic, but now I need one too, he-he!
what the hell.
i’m searching every store in los angeles for grapefruit mentos.
