I am finished with the knitted portions of the Girly Knit flower vest, and now it’s time to grow some flowers! I managed to eke one out last night:
That’s the back of the vest. I think I am just going to leave it with one flower. The front will have flowers all along the bottom. I still need to add some seed beads to the flower. Embroidery is kind of tough, but hopefully the flowers will be cute.
Oh cute! What fuzzy-wuzzy yarn is that?
Are you going to make that super cute purse in there too?
lookin’ good. i love that pattern. that’s going to be one fantastic knit. there are so many things on my list to knit in that book and that is def one of them.
Well, the first flower looks cute, so I’m sure the rest will too.
I’ll bet you can make flower pants to match.
😉
So sweet! Love them Girly Knits.
this is for you, yes? not some little girl? what is this girly knits book of which i have not heard? love the color
Oh, it is quite nice! Can’t wait to see the front. I really like it. 🙂
Wonderful! I love the idea of only one flower on the back…
That looks so pretty! I also like the ribbed detailing.
That is one DARLING sweater. Please model it when finished!
Way to eke! I love it.
Oooh, the flower is sooooo cute! I can not wait to see the front!
That sweater is AWESOME! so inspiring… must review my girly knit book for another project to add to the que!
Very cute! Was it easy to figure out the pattern or do you read Japanese?
Did you translate the pattern? It looks phenomenal!!
Hi Mariko,
If you read Japanese and you like Hello Kitty I have a Japanese Hello Kitty kids knitting book for you. 🙂 I thought I would be able to figure it out from the illustrations, but, no. Let me know if you are interested. I’d like to give it so someone who can use it. You seem to be the type!
