Sometimes I act impulsively:

I had this idea that I was going to make a bunch of swim bags like the one I made for Peter. I suppose now I can. I ordered these fabrics from Seattle Fabrics.
And a heads up y’all: Go listen to Marie‘s podcast here. She has a gorgeous voice and a killer accent, of course. In the first podcast Marie talks to some knitters who find inspiration for their knitting from bacteria. The next podcast will feature the one and only Wendy of Wendyknits. The podcast is a great idea, so please go show Marie your support!

    Mariko, Thanks for posting the link for Seatle Fabrics…. that store is AWESOME! I’m a sporty athletic type who has a crafty alter-ego…. I ALWAYS wish I had access to GOOD quality sports bag-type materials b/c I can NEVER find a bag that exactly fits my needs… and the ones that are out there are crazy expensive (like triathlon bags for $100+!!!)…. when I have a chance, I’m going to have to order myself a stash of goodie material and sew myself up some neat bags…!
