It was a good mail day today. I got my allergy meds from New Zealand, the Hancock’s of Paducah fabric catalog, and a little surprise from Jennifer!
Hmm, what a pretty little packet this is! Click on the photo to see how things unfold …
Yes, it’s a Brazilian apron (well, I don’t know if it’s a BRAZILIAN apron, but a Brazilian person made it). Isn’t it so clever? The apron folds into this neat little pocket!

uh-oh…be careful of that catalog! It’s quite hard to resist! (BTW, I have ordered from them several times and have been quite happy with the service I received.)
Ooh, that is so cute! My hubby is going to Brazil(Sao Paolo) in a couple of weeks for business and I’ve been meaning to try to find out if there’s a yarn shop that I can send him to there or what kind of yarns Brazillian knitters like to use.
Very nice apron, it reminds me of those quilts that fold into a pillow… You know what caught my eye when I saw this picture? My first thought was “Wow, she has a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom!” I *so* want one of those, but can’t justify getting one because ours is still working fine.
Yeah! I’m glad you like it. I was afraid to open it and see what it looked like as I was certain I would never be able to get it back into the nice little pocket. Enjoy!
the girlreaction, she say many special aprons they are mysteriously appearing in mailboxes these days, no? 🙂
Ccccccuuuuute apron. And yes, watch out for Hancock’s. Between them, Keepsake Quilting and e-Quilter, I’m surprised I have enough left to spend locally.
BTW, allergy meds from New Zealand? Hmmmm… that might mean more money for hobbies….
What a cool apron!! Are you going to make one and post the directions?? Please??
Sara
How did she fold it so cute?
Cute apron – but I’m trying to figure out when you snuck in my house to hang it on my fridge for the picture! I think we have some of the same magnets and exactly the same fridge!! (though mine is set up to open on the right). It freaked me out for a second when I opened the picture.
🙂
Hancock’s of Paducah? Wow!
I’m heading down there this weekend to look for fabric for a needle holder project. Small world!
