I have a ton of sewing projects on my to-do list, and I managed to complete a couple of them yesterday. More running stuff!
Pardon the jogbra’s unsightly bulkiness. The fabric is a polyester jersey sort of fabric, courtesy of Sandee in the Bay Area. As you can see, I am still wild about the flatlock! I also made another pair of exercise capris. These are made of cotton lycra, so they aren’t so great for running but are rather comfy for yoga and such. Here’s a shot of the fabric (I figured you all have seen enough of my tights-clad legs):

You are just a machine! Has anyone actually met this Super Eggplant? Is she real? 🙂
Hi! Where did you get that pattern from?
Brilliant!
Benita, mid-Wales, UK
Norma – By her blog posts, I’ve deduced that we live in the same metropolitan area so I keep on wondering if I’ll see her at a yarn or quilting store. She does describe the local stores with great accuracy so I suspect she is real. Plus, she buys rice from a Japanese market I’ve probably been to. 😉 And there’s also the Japanese bookstore near the Japanese market where we’d cosmically be reaching for the same Japanese sweater pattern book, I’m sure. I’d gasp and shout her name with big eyes, pointing at a super-eggplant bag she carries, while she quietly tries to scooch away from the unknown madwoman.
– Mariko, I come in peace. Really. Your creations are fantastic! And the lycra pants are super-wonderful. Is lycra difficult to work with?
Fantabumous! Bravo on getting a T WITH long sleeves out of that itty bitty piece of fabric…you rock! I bow to your pattern laying/cutting abilities. 😉
I like the contrasting pinks. Cool!
You are the bomb baby. What did you use for the pink highlight? is that stitching or a binding?
I always find running wear really funny.
Flatlock rocks! I’m so coveting that pink top.
You are bound to be the chic-est runner on the block, missy. That is one great outfit! I seriously envy your sewing talent right now.
P.S. I have a similar workout bra. Mine is called “shock absorber”. That name cracks me up for some reason.
