Um, you might want to put on some sunglasses for this post. So Carolyn forced upon me sent me a cotton shower curtain dotted with palm trees. I asked if she wanted me to make her a bag or something with it, and she said, well, maybe a beach bag.
Yeah, it is kind of bright, isn’t it? Peter said it could be used as a Coast Guard beacon. I know you won’t believe me, but I chose the green to TONE DOWN the brightness. Yes, I was going to use the pink on the front as well as the sides! Well, at least Carolyn won’t be able to misplace this bag.
I think it’s a great summer bag! (And I expect Carolyn will concur.)
I think it’s a cute bag! I’m not so confident that Carolyn can’t misplace this bag, she’s had alot of odd things happen in her ‘hood. Pursesnatcher wouldn’t be too crazy.
What a great idea! That is a wonderful looking bag.
Cuuuuuute! That’s exactly what a beach bag is supposed to look like.
What a clever way to use a shower curtain! I’m imagining all sorts of fun and funky things that you could make…I’m sure you get a lot of fabric out of one.
The pink is perfect…it’s summer and you’re wearing sunglasses anyway so you need to be able to see it.
it will be a beacon on the beach, guiding me back to my stuff. i love it!
This is great! Certainly a good way to find your way back to your beach blanket..LOL!
Bright is exactly what is called for. No such thing as too bright on the beach. xoxo Kay
