here, kitty kitty

There hasn’t been much crafting going on around here as of late, but that doesn’t mean it ain’t happening at all! From the galaxy’s slowest crocheter (that would be me) I present Florence* the amineko (aka crocheted cat):

Fast friends

* Florence is the name of the woman whose house we are buying. I think she moved into a nursing home or something.
The crocheted kitty pattern is in, what else, a Japanese craft book. The ISBN is 4391130122.

    Kawaii!
Molly sent me several of those Japanese creature crochet books and I have yet to sit down and figure out the patterns, although I did crochet many years ago. Was it difficult to follow the pattern? Lately, I have to attention span of a gnat.

You are just way too cute and clever! I found your blog through Marie Irshad, and I’ll definitely be back. Where in the Bay Area are you? I’m in the South Bay. 🙂 I’m a Peets addict too.

I just love that picture ‘hangin’ around’. I think a crocheted creation could perhaps dangle from every lampshade in one’s house.
