The very first package I received at our new house was from my Blogging by Mail buddy Amy! Blogging by Mail is a food swap of sorts. You send someone regional treats, something homebaked, food you like, that sort of thing. This round was hosted by Samantha.
I totally scored on this round, because I received regional goodies from the Gulf Coast of Florida! Woohoo!
Round 3 of Blogging by Mail is open now, and you can sign up here! Do I have enough exclamation points in this post?!!?
i *LOVE, LOVE, LOVE* the beignet mix from Cafe du Monde. i hope you’re getting settled in okay. the whole move thing is a bit draining, isn’t it?
oh! what a nice first package to receive at your new home! thanks for the tip on the BBM3 – i signed up – it’ll be my second go-round….
Oh, didn’t know about that nice swap… will sign up. Enjoy your goodies.
you are a food junkie. 🙂
I second the Beignet Mix love! Nothing better than fresh beignet’s and cafe au lait in the am. MMMMMMMMmm
Looks like a great package Mariko. I’m jealous of that Beignet mix!
This reminded me just in time that the San Jose Mitsuwa has their “Dessert Faire” with Japan’s regional dessert treats this weekend. It will be sadly lacking without a SuperEggplant review.
Oooh. Thanks for the heads-up re: the latest BBM. I’d like to sign up just to send magical Singaporean things to a lucky someone. I’ll have to get my partner to send things back to my home in Canada, though. Going to get on signing up!
Your treats from Amy look lovely. Let us know how they all taste. 🙂
Hi, how’s the moving going? Thanks so much for the BBM link, I’ve signed up for number 3! I’m so excited, thanks for posting about it!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying the package, Mariko! I was going to send you some coffee to go along with the beignets, but I figured you can get much better coffee on the west coast than what I could send you! Let me know how those beignets turn out…..
