I keep forgetting to blog

Yesterday I didn’t turn my computer on at all! Today I intended to finally set up my sewing room, but that didn’t happen. I did, however, seek inspiration at the Fabric Depot. They were having one of their famous 30% off sales, so Action Hero Melissa and I ventured out there. She controlled herself because she is generally a well-behaved gal, but I ended up adding to my stash:

A couple of Christmas fabrics, because who doesn’t need Christmas fabrics, plus some fun numbered fabric that I have been eyeing for some time. And thank goodness for the nice selection of Dutch goodies, because I have been out of chocolate sprinkles (aka jimmies) and in dire need of some. I got some milk chocolate sprinkles plus a cute little sampler pack that has tiny boxes of dark and milk chocolate sprinkles, some chocolate curls, and maybe some of those pink and white sprinkles. And yes, Fabric Depot also has grapefruit and green apple Mentos. It really is a one-stop shopping center, don’t you think?

The christmas fabric is so cute! My kids and I love the pink grapefruit mentos too. But our all-time fave is the orange ones that come in the mixed flavours roll and our question to the mentos people is why on earth don’t they have an all-orange mentos? If they had we won’t have to fight over who gets the orange one anymore.

Fabric and food both look delish. 😉
I really like the numbered fabric. Can’t wait to see what you work your super eggplant magic on those pieces!
Good luck with all the organizing and setting up!

You can never be too rich, too thin or own too much fabric. Looooove the Santa Claus fabric. Do you have any plans for the fabric or are you like the gazillion of us fabriholics who just like to tooouch it.

I love the number fabric! Do you know who the designer is? I might have to see if I can order it in the UK.

Just you know, over at http://birdinthehand.typepad.com/ (#66)she has some number fabric for sale. The colors are more pastel, less primary but that may be a monitor calibration or something problem.
Don’t even ask me how long I have been reading blogs today to actually come across that.
    embarrassing

Just have to delurk to say that Hagelslag and mentos seem a lot saner investment than water ( in my completely unbiased Dutch view)
