1. I slept in, WAY in.
2. I thought about running, but I just went for a short run with Peter & Deedle instead (you’ll note that I did not mention Berkeley. That’s because I got home from Australia to a one-dog household).
3. I thought about making a Peeps Pie, but I was short on Peeps. I know, it’s a tragedy.
4. I sewed! I actually sewed! I made a tote for Bean, something I should have made, oh, a year ago.
5. I also sewed a zabuton (seat cushion) cover, but you don’t want to see it.
6. I listened to a podcast of Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me, a hilarious game broadcast on NPR.
7. I opened a package of Tim Tams in latte flavor. They are pretty tasty.
8. I finally put up some pictures in my office!
9. For dinner we went to Burgerville, a local fast-food chain that actually uses real ingredients, and had the seasonal strawberry smoothies with our burgers. Mmmmmm.
great tote! i forgot all about those podcast dealybops…
Sounds like you had a great day!
sounds like a pretty productive holiday! what happened to berkeley? why do some people eat stale peeps?
Happy Easter, Mariko! Um, I’m afraid to ask about number 2 on the list. Sounds like whatever did happen didn’t keep you from having a fun day so I’m going to refrain from being concerned. BTW, the tote looks great!
I love Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me! I always listen to that for the week’s news when I’m making dinner on Monday nights!
Ooooh, I love that tote bag! The fabrics and colours are so nice 🙂
Aww. what happened to Berkeley? He was precious.
Mmmm … Burgerville strawberry shakes are SO good!
btw, fixed the spam thing.
what happened to berkeley? i’m so curious now.
peeps pie! what a treat!
Love the bag — what great fabric! And, um, I’m curious but not nosy about Berkeley. Share if ya feel like it.
Oh, I’m sad about Berkeley! What happened to him?
tim tams!!
what happened to Berkeley?
Yeah, what happened to Berkeley? Did he not work out? I guess I shouldn’t assume the worst, but I hope he’s OK!
You can’t just not tell us where Berkeley is. We can’t think about any of the other fun things you tell us when we’re all worried about him. 🙁
I love Wait Wait – listen to it every weekend while we work in our fabulous new back yard. Sorry to hear Berkely had to go, but Deedle is happier and I’m sure you did the right thing for both of them.
