how many days this month can I post about cookies?

I have long been fixated on finding sweet treats and recipes that include black or green tea as ingredients, so I was thrilled when Amai Tea & Bake House decided to offer their tea sweets cookies for sale online. Take a look (disclaimer: I stole this photo from Amai):

They are available until the end of April. I am especially looking forward to sampling the earl grey & currant and of course green tea!
I don’t know if you remember, but around Christmas I ordered champagne brownies from Amai. It was their first online offering. The bakery was founded about a year ago by Kelli and Kathryn (an Aussie!). I was a reader of Kelli’s blog before she quit her day job to pursue her dream as bakery owner; thus, I feel like I’ve been there through the big life transition and am fiercely supportive of her. Of course, it’s not much of a challenge since she is so talented and keeps baking delicious goodies that I would kill for, anyway.

There aren’t enough posts in the day for us to get bored of cookies Mariko!

They look stunningly delicious. I just checked, and they don’t send international, otherwise me and bub would be buying some. The packaging looks so cute! You’ll have to do a taste by taste post so we can eat with you through the blog (that’s a bit sad isn’t it?!)

I haven’t tasted any Amai goodies yet, but I have to agree that their stuff looks amazing! I swear, everytime someone posted a picture of their brownies , I’d salivate. 😛 I should try to pre-plan and order of these goodies to my boyfriend’s place in MA. Hmmmm. Otherwise I’ll never get to try them since shipping to Canada is currently not an option.

I have made Earl Grey crisps and they are amazing (not tooting my own horn), got the recipe from Food and Wine mag. Ever since discovering that recipe, I am wild for tea flavored things. Thanks for the tip on Amai!

I just took my first trip to Japan, and they of course had green-tea-flavored everything… lattes and frappucinos at Starbucks, milkshakes at McDonald’s, cakes, cookies, ice cream, etc etc. I feel like I tried them ALL. The latte wasn’t too bad although it turned my lips partially green (ew). The milkshake was ok, and so were most of the cookies and cakes but over time it got a little overwhelming. I’d still like to try the Earl Grey cookies though!!

My friend and I tried each of the cookies at Tavalon today – they were delicious! I think the Earl Grey and currant and the lemongrass and ginger were my favorite, but they were all very good.
