Hey, those otama things are much easier to make than the crochet kitties! I whipped one out yesterday evening. Now I want to make a whole fleet of them!
Work on the driveway continues, much to Deedle’s dismay. I had to go pick up lumber today, and she was so calm when I left that I thought she’d be fine with the guys working near the house. When I got home, though, I found the curtain rod yanked from the wall and a huge tear in our month-old curtain. I’m hoping to get those repaired before the backtack party next weekend. I mean, the house is trashy enough as it is without ripped curtains hanging lopsidedly from the wall!
otamas rule!
LOL
Otamas and vegemite!
Otamas are so cute! If they’re easy maybe that’s a good crochet learning project for me. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for that book!
my kitty needs a friend. otama chyodai!
Haha, they’re so cute! Your should make you’re own book. おたまが大好き!

hee! that little fellow is adorable! i love him/her on the vegemite… also, hi! you’re my back-tack partner(i think you’re making the thing for me? – that’s what the email said), which i am so happy about because i have loved your blog and the stuff you make!
Otama and Vegemite — interesting combo!
is that a CUPCAKE i spy in the background? it looks delectable. is it a crochet cupcake or a knitted cupcake?
Otamas are cool! Maybe Deedle didn’t like the curtains?
is otama japanese for cartoon sperm?
Those photos are funny! You should contribute them to the Otama Fotolog.
I see otama has a taste for Vegemite. I guess someone has to finish that jar in your house!
No, really, what is an otoma exactly? Whatever it is it’s very cute.
