It was a busy weekend, but unfortunately I didn’t get any crafting accomplished. Saturday Peter and I went to the ballet! We saw the Oregon Ballet Theatre production of Swan Lake. It was quite impressive and very enjoyable. I did have a senior moment where I totally did the nod-and-bob sleep thing during Act III, but I don’t think I missed anything critical.
Sunday was a gorgeous day. I stopped by my parents’ house, and my mother and brother were outside doing yardwork.
Peter and I also went sailing with our friends the Slabs. It was HOT out there on the river. We went under the bridge that connects Oregon and Washington, and even though the pilings are pretty far apart, it was still a tad nervewracking.
It’s now time to eat some Hood strawberries with vanilla ice cream, so I’ll catch you on the flip side.
strawberries, yum.
sailing, fun.
mama fuj, so cute!!!
(I’ve got nothing)..but soon you’ve got a package from Norway! Your package was finally sent saturday. The not so nice mailman said you can expect it in 10-14 days. Yummy Seigmenn are on your way!
I love it when you post pictures of your mom, she’s so cute! I just want to hug her!
Sailing under bridges is very much an adrenaline momment, even if it’s the SF bridge and you’re a puny 32′ sailboat. My imagination always runs along the lines of: swell, picking up and smashing the boat against the pilings…urp, sorry.
Your mother takes her sun shading very seriously! Good girl! How’s the Aveeno working?
Are the strawberries out? Oh my gosh, I haven’t been able to drive by my favorite stand, the one off Sandy in the Kmart parking lot out by 122nd! They ROCK! Thanks for the heads up.
Just found your wonderful blog when blog searching for sewing a tote bag instructions. Found your Tote Bag 101, and thanks to you, I now have two new totes for me, and one for my daughter!!!! Thank you so much!
