My parents’ house is crammed full of … stuff. There’s stuff everywhere. The upside of this is once in a while I will find a little gem:

Oh how cute! AND from circa 1978. Now that’s an appropriately aged stash.
my house is full of stuff too – i always end up needing something right after i’ve thrown it out, so i hesitate to throw anything out….maybe one day my kids will find some treasure or two and thank me….
smooches to mama fuj. are you going to make that kit or what?!?! 😉
Mariko, is it weird that I am in love with your parents? I just want to give them a hug!
My mom’s house is the same way. Visiting the folks is like going treasure hunting! 🙂
Haha, can’t wait to see you make them. mushroom forest! who would have thought of it.
I want to ask you about local yarn stores you like. We visited this weekend and happened to find this awesome store called Yarn Garden and was wondering if it’s somewhere you like too.
Oh Mariko, its not that you suddenly find it charming, its that you are becoming your mother, or your grandmother, as the case may be! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Don’t worry, I’m suddenly having cravings to crochet a blanket even though I have a closet full of “grandmotherly” made afghans!!! Ugh….
whatever happens, don’t ever ask me to help you clean your parents house….i get lost easily 🙂
Dude, that pillow is so cute! I would love to stitch away on that. My grandma is kind of like that too. She’s always dragging out these boxes of cute hand-made projects she’s stitched over the years. It’s all very retro and cool now, like your mushroom pillow!
I just this photo is adorable 🙂
That is a cute kit! And I like how it follows the post “There’s a Fungus Among Us”! I’m easily amused.
