Mason-Dixon Knitting blew into town, and we are left in their wake. They had a gig at Abundant Yarn that had quite the turnout (or so I hear. I was unable to make it). I was very lucky to be able to spend some quality time with these rockstars of knitting. Unfortunately, the only photo I managed to take (I was simply too starstruck to remember to take photos) is this one at Close Knit:
Oh, and another reason to celebrate today is allbuttonedup Melissa turned 30! I can’t quite remember that far back, but I do recall it was a good age. Sally put together a fun surprise party for Melissa the other evening, and yes, Melissa was really surprised!
you have a little bit of sugar today, girl? because you sound very hyper in this post. rilly. 😉
hurrah for birthdays and knitting rockstars! this all sounds like great fun. i am amazed every time i open mason-dixon knitting… whole new worlds opening up.
Anne and Kay, what a pair. I am jealous.
You took them to Burgerville? Well, that was probably the highlight of the whole trip for them. Rilly! I’ll have to check-out Rose-Kim Knits’ entry for the M-D trip: she drove down from Seattle for the event.
oh-good times!! what a week. more social then I have been a year. ha!
oh you’re right– i look crazy there! crazy-happy. amy looks awesome. you should take all her pictures. the ones pete takes her eyes are always have closed. i need to bring that up with him.
I can’t believe I missed you again! I came down to see Ann and Kay. I even went to Close Knit. Argh. Clearly we were not meant to meet in person ever.
Awww, Happy Belated Birthday Melissa! You are loved obviously…take a look at that cupcake! 😉
By the way, I’ve been 30 for 12.5 years now! What a co-inky-dink huh?
