Superbuzzy has been keeping me super busy, so I apologize for being so spotty in my posting. Yesterday I had this goal of getting the boxes of product out of the living room, but then the UPS guy showed up with TEN more boxes of fabric! I should sell tickets to the lifesize maze!
Kelly and I are heading to Salt Lake City on Friday for a big trade show. I have been checking the weather reports, because, I don’t know, that’s what I do (I check the weather and look for food tips when I go on trips), and can you believe it’s been sunny and in the 80s, but when we arrive a cold front is going to hit, and it’s supposed to rain and/or snow and be cold! As a Pacific Northwesterner with a bit of seasonal affective disorder, I was disappointed by this news. I even bought some cute walking shoes for the trip, but they will stay home:
Anyway, we are gearing up for a pretty big update next week. In preparation I picked up some more candies to include in the packages:
All right, I need to wash the dishes and get ready to watch Lost. Today was (well, still is as of this moment) Action Hero Melissa’s birthday, so we went to a new restaurant to celebrate. It was pretty tasty, but Melissa’s meal was kind of bland. I hope it’s not a sign of things to come when she is old and can only eat boiled foods.
Holy cow…love the shoes! And I just got my copy of the Crafter’s Companion, so of course I am loving your bit. Can’t wait for the shop update!
Cute shoes! Where did you get them?
Those marshmallow things are yummy!!! I had a Hello Kitty version at Christmas and they’re delicious!
Good luck at the show and take the shoes with you, that’s what I say!
i like the shoes, too! about half of my comments on people’s blogs seem to be about their shoes…
i am in love with your shoes. cute and comfy! who is the maker?
hope you have a great time at the trade show. and i’m looking forward to weird filled marshmallows 🙂
It’s like we’re living parlell lives, but I have those shoes too and adore them! Nice choice. (I’ll be sporting those at MDS&W this week btw.)
As for food in SLC, I’ve eaten at Caffee Molise several time and loved it – and I’m picky. It’s downtown and close to the convention center and has a good wine list. http://www.caffemolise.com/
Boiled foods, yum. I think I’ll boil me a salad for lunch today. Or should I wait and keep that as a b’day treat?
Boxes full of fabric?!? Sounds great to me!!!;-)
I really enjoyed finding the little candy in my box of goodies from Superbuzzy—a great touch! Do you get them at Uwajimaya? I love that place…
I’ve heard Salt Lake has some good restaurants—I hope you find them to escape from the cold front!
Cute shoes! Too bad you couldn’t try them out quite yet.
Those are some mighty fine Berne Mev mary janes you’ve got there!
Those filled marshmallows are yummy – my kids and I love the grape ones best! We actually found some green tea filled ones but the inside looked like something from a nose (yuck!) and they didn’t taste any better than they looked – to MOST of us anyway! My daughter who loves anything green tea thought they were delish – :O)
