put a lid on it

Here’s Action Hero with her cute new bucket hat:

She made it with some superbuzzy fabric! I have grand plans for my stockpile of superbuzzy fabrics, but I just haven’t had the time (or energy) to do much sewing. And speaking of superbuzzy fabrics, some of you clever people have noticed that we just added some new ones, including some fairy tale canvas: Jack and the Beanstalk, a Russian folktale featuring “kolobok,” which apparently translates to “flattened dough ball,” according to my Russian literature scholar buddy Alice, and Wizard of Oz (okay, so not technically a fairy tale … ). We also have fabric from Puti de Pome. It might look mellow and muted online, but in person the stuff is really sweet and adorable. Okay, I’ve got scads more fabrics itching to get on the shelves, so I have my work cut out for me!

    Hello super eggplant,
I simply must write to tell you what a fantastic shop you have. With sweet and funny comments to every piece of fabric.
Every day I must look at Superbuzzy to see the wonderful stuff. Unfortunally it seems so far away – Denmark is a long way for fabric to travel….But never the less I will continue buying your fabric. We don’t have anything like it in Denmark!

  2. What a great hat!! Was there a specific pattern used? My little one would love something like that (so would I)!

Hi! I’ve been trying to get my hands on some of that mole fabric and just found your post. I checked Superbuzzy, but didn’t see it. Is it sold out or am I just missing it?
    Thanks!
