And more knitting for babies has taken place! Voila, a raspberry cap for my friend Melissa’s soon-to-be-born little baby girl:
I plan to make matching socks, and then off it will go.
Other than that, not much new around here. I had the major punes (pronounced “pyoonz”) on Friday and could not function. It was a result of heat exhaustion and dehydration, I think. I spent the whole weekend trying to recover.

For someone with the “punes”, you did pretty darn well today during the City-to-Sea Half Marathon!! Don’t forget to drink up, eggplant girl.
geez! stop doing stuff for other people and get back to knitting for yourself already!!! 🙂 (hee hee hee, you’re too nice!)
You mean that’s not a tea cozy?
Okay, I kept reading pRunes, and kept wondering how many you’d eaten that you needed TWO days to recover! Then I wondered why you’d post that…but now I see I’m a moron and you are some Olympian goddess. Half marathon, gulp. I would perish and you apparently kick ass. Ooh make a prune hat using a pruny cable pattern…
Tres cute hat! I made a strawberry one a long time ago to see if I still knew how to knit. Aren’t they fun? Congrats on doing a half-marathon!
Oooooohhh I love that hat! that’s the first thing I want to knit as soon as my friends start reproducing (I’m WAITING…).
