milkshake shakes

Last weekend I had half a coffee milkshake at dinner, and it got me so wired that I stayed up too late and made a dress.

The fabric is from my stash (it’s pretty old), and the pattern is from the Japanese craft book Camisoles and One-pieces. Here’s the cover:

The ISBN is 4579110439.
The pattern is pretty cute. I don’t know if you can really tell, but the front and back are gathered and held together by a fabric rope, if you will. It’s loose and comfy and has a cute pocket. Check out the detail here:

I have a ton of projects just sitting in a pile, so maybe I should have coffee milkshakes more often?

wow, super cute! I wish I could sew… I want to make skirts and things especially since I am too tall to fit the skirts in the stores, but I would probably be too busy, since I am a full time college student. meh T_T

That dress looks fantastic! Although I suspect too many coffee milkshakes in a row would lead to burnout, even though your wardrobe would be fabulous.
