My friend Taya is a complete freak, and I mean that in the best way possible. She has a thing for dishes, you see, and she has this uncanny encyclopedic knowledge of china patterns. She can rattle off designers, dates, pattern names, what have you, of china from all over the world (though she is particularly well versed in British china). Anyway, as soon as I casually mentioned my newfound interest in eggcups, she flooded my inbox with links to all manner of eggcups. She knows my tastes, so she turned me on to these gorgeous eggcups by Finnish company Arabia. I scored these on ebay, and now I am done with eggcups. Really.

    yes, but have you checked out Cath Kidston’s new catalogue? She has plain egg cups in the prettiest colors & little egg cozies too 🙂

    http://www.hearthsong.com has a kit for decorating your own set of egg cups – comes with plain white cups & markers – it’s on sale…hee hee…I’d love to see finished cups if anyone decides to buy it 🙂

    Ack, these were our egg cups growing up in South Africa … super homesick moment right there. And a warm glow of happiness. We had knitted cosies to keep our eggs warm:)
